Gym Leader Challenge (GLC)
Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) is a special format for playing Pokemon Trading Card Game! Build your deck by using the expanded card pool (from the Black & White base set to whatever new set we have now) and only consisting one type of Pokemon (without rule box) and only one copy of each card (except basic energy) and battle it out against other “Gym Leaders” for some sweet prizes!
If you want to join but you don't have a GLC deck, no worry! We have 10 different types of GLC decks for you to borrow in store!
Date: March 29th, 2024 (Saturday) - 1:30 pm (round 1 will start on time)
Format: GLC format; Best of 1 - 40 minutes per round (max. 3 rounds)

‣ If you have never been to Comfy Hobbies for Pokémon tournament or if you are signing up for someone else, please provide the player's information (name, Play! ID, and birth year) in the Order instructions section in the Cart page before Checkout.
Proxies: Yes
World Championship Deck Cards and Foreign Language Cards:
Players are allowed to include those cards in their decks.
However, decks that include those cards must be sleeved in completely opaque sleeves due to different card backs.
For foreign language cards, players are required to provide references at any time during an event (printed image, physical copy, or screenshot that is easily accessible upon request).

‣ Ties count as losses for purposes of prizing.
‣ Play! Prize packs will be handed out as prizes while supplies last.
